Dallas Auto Accident Attorney: Auto Accident Updates

A Texas Tech student has become the third person to die as the result of an auto accident that occurred last week in Grimes County. Chelsea Wiseman, 18, of Austin, passed away late last Tuesday at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. She was one of five Texas Tech students who was riding in a Subaru Legacy that crashed head on into a Dodge Ram pickup last Sunday.

Two others, Kyle Drew Anderson and Jeffrey Michael Inns died at the scene of the auto accident. Wiseman's roommate Marissa Whitworth was admitted to the hospital but is currently listed as being in good condition. The driver was treated for a neck injury and was released from Conroe Regional hospital on Sunday. The cause of the accident will still be under investigation.

The students were on a trip to visit the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville and were returning to Lubbock when the accident occurred. Robert Baigrie veered into oncoming traffic suddenly and collided with the other vehicle. The driver of the truck was not injured, however, his 5 year old passenger was treated later for bruises and cuts, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

In another Texas auto accident, a Gatesville teen was killed and another was injured when the pickup they were riding in overturned on State Highway 36. Jessica McGahee was killed around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday after her Ford truck left the highway, overturned and rolled several times, a spokeswoman for the Texas Department of Public Safety said. The truck's driver, 17 year old Kodi Hitt, was injured in the auto accident and taken to Scott and White hospital in Temple. Hitt was driving north on Highway 36 when she veered off of the highway and attempted to overcorrect the wheel, resulting in her car flipping over several times.
